Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data models using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
  • Perform exploratory, descriptive, and inferential data analysis applying a range of statistical and machine learning methodologies.
  • Design and generate insightful dashboards, reports, and visualizations utilizing tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders through clear, impactful data storytelling.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and address business challenges through data-driven strategies.
  • Mentor and lead junior data analysts, promoting a culture focused on quality and consistency in data analytics.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in data analytics and the life insurance sector.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the life insurance industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for this position is $114,080 to $187,415, based on qualifications and experience. This role includes possible eligibility for annual and incentive bonuses. Location & Travel

This position requires two days a week in-office at our locations in New York, NY, Holmdel, NJ, or Bethlehem, PA with three days a week remote work.
