About Our Aftermarket Insights Department

Our department is pivotal in Scania's mission to promote a sustainable transport system that benefits businesses, society, and the environment. We supply essential information, tools, and systems for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading our products qualitatively and cost-effectively. As part of our expansion, we need a skilled Senior Data Analyst to enhance our data-driven initiatives.

Our highly motivated and skilled team consists of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and Cloud Engineers. We work collaboratively in an agile manner to continually refine our methods. Historically, we have developed a stellar reputation as a leading AI team, managing everything from data collection, modeling, testing, to deploying ML models in production. Your Role

In this leadership role, you will collaborate with development teams and users to identify and meet business needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging new data sources and techniques to derive key insights that benefit our aftermarket operations.
  • Producing insightful statistical analyses and reports to guide our business strategies.
  • Utilizing Agile methodologies to effectively deliver data products that enhance our data mesh solution, based on the Snowflake platform.

Your Profile

We seek candidates who can lead data initiatives, understand business contexts and customer demands, and solve complex data challenges. Ideal qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines and BI reports.
  • Experience in data visualization, storytelling, and using tools like SQL and Power BI.
  • Fluency in English; Swedish language skills would be a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing services such as Snowflake or Amazon Athena.
  • Knowledge of machine learning modeling and Python coding.
