About the Role

In the Senior Data Analyst role, your primary tasks include setting up data quality dashboards in SAP Information Steward and assisting Data Migration with SAP BODS or other tools. You will work closely with the Data Quality Lead and business stakeholders to understand data standards, definitions, and rules, and to establish the data quality dashboards. You will also serve as the Data Migration Lead for all essential master data initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze the current data quality state within your area of responsibility and set goals for data quality enhancement.
  • Manage Data Quality and Data Transformation - Standardize, govern, and automate critical data elements necessary for the transformation process.
  • Act as a Data Migration Lead for all Master data initiatives and be responsible for ETL tasks using SAP BODS or other ETL applications.
  • Monitor and report on data migration activities including setting up Data Migration Cockpit, conducting Data reconciliation, and assisting where necessary in Data cleansing/transformation.
  • Understand and facilitate processes for Data cleansing, and Data quality metrics. Identify data quality benchmarks and perform data quality audits to ascertain the data quality level. Prioritize issues to achieve data quality targets and implement improvement strategies beyond their immediate area.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality levels to ensure data effectively supports business processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, IT resources, and overall advocate for the data governance/quality program. Escalate unresolved issues beyond personal capacity to the data quality champion or relevant business leaders.
  • Regularly provide data quality metrics via standard reporting channels (e.g., data quality scorecard or dashboard).
  • Actively participate in the design and deployment of applications and data integration processes to adhere to standards, controls, and deliver consistently high-quality data.
  • Follow prescribed data quality methodologies for data quality improvement projects. Identify and allocate resources for data quality improvement projects. Design and facilitate changes to business processes. Identify and guide the resolution of processes and actions that impact data quality.
  • Promote successes to further engage individuals at all levels of the organization.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Finance, or IT discipline or a similar area of study.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Data Quality Management and proficiency in SAP BODS/IS.
  • Significant Data Migration experience in a leadership role and preference is given to candidates with SAP S4 Data Migration experience.
  • Experience with SAP/SAP S4 business process understanding.
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Quality dimensions and ways to establish the Data Quality metrics/Scorecards.
  • Experience with Data Quality rule mining.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Proven track record of developing or implementing enterprise-level data strategies and scalable process designs in accordance with industry practices.
  • The ability to leverage influence and relationship management skills to generate productive, and inclusive team dynamics across a matrixed organization.
  • Proven expertise in program/project management utilizing a structured methodology to effectively plan, track, monitor, and report on multiple concurrent projects.

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI/ML for Data Quality Management
  • Experience with budgets and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in process reengineering and process mapping/
  • Experience with change management.
  • Basic Knowledge of SAP Master Data, SAP MDG.
  • Experience with Data Transformation projects in SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA.
