Purpose of Role

Provide quality and high-performance data modeling and visualization solutions to our business units, embodying the mantra: “Business First; Technology Second.” As part of a results-oriented team, you'll:

• Participate in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting a modern data platform to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Analysts, Data Platform Engineers, and the Data Governance Team to define, develop, and implement solutions.
• Model, design, develop, test, and implement backend and frontend structures to meet business visualization requirements.
• Use industry-leading integration and analytics tools to build a modern, high-performance data warehouse.
• Build dashboards following wireframe designs and integrate them with backend data models.
• Manage data flow, formatting, and processing to support dashboards and self-service reporting.
• Interact with clients to gather functional and technical requirements and translate them into reports and dashboards.
• Ensure data warehouse and associated data marts are supported daily.
• Document development for peer reference and knowledge transfer.
• Educate and empower the business community toward self-serve reporting models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a Software Engineering role.
• 2 years of experience with SAP HANA, Business Objects, and SAC platform stack.
• 2 years of experience in Technical design of Data Modeling for SAC Analytics.
• 3 years of experience designing and developing analytical queries and visualizations using the Tableau Platform.
• 2 years of experience with dbt as a data orchestration tool.
• 2 years of experience in the CICD framework.
• 2 years of experience with Snowflake VWH and data modeling.
• Proficiency in HVR replication, Python, Java programming, fundamental data architecture, and SQL.

Position is up to 100% remote and may be performed from anywhere in the US; up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Base Compensation

Salary Range: $141,440 - $186,000/year

Initial placement within this range is based on individual knowledge, skills, and experience. UA commits to helping teammates succeed and advance. Base salary is one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
