Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you'll be working with our BI Engineers, other Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Salesforce Factory Software Engineers, and members of the application teams. Your role will involve improving our applications and business lines' decisions from specification to implementation, promoting a data-centric mindset and a data-driven company. You'll integrate into our Data Team, working with Paris team members, contributing to local initiatives and projects, and sharing knowledge with team members.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL jobs that integrate data from different providers. Work closely with our Business Analysts team in Paris and our Salesforce Smart Factory in Porto to develop, deploy, and maintain Talend ETL jobs of varying complexities. Contribute to application support and testing activities and create technical documentation that aligns with business analysts.

Qualifications

Years of Experience:

Over 5 years of overall experience and over 3 years of experience using Talend

Main Technical Requirements:

BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar Experience using Talend (mandatory) Experience in other ETL processes (big plus) Experience in Salesforce (big plus) Experience with relational databases Good knowledge of SQL

Other Requirements:

Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory) French is a big plus Able to become quickly autonomous, proactive Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban) (nice to have) A real passion for learning, improving, and helping others; as well as an ability to turn ideas into realities Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required
