About the Role:

PokerStars is seeking a proactive and motivated Senior Data Product Manager to join our cutting-edge Data Science (DS) team. This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity to advance PokerStars' leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

As a member of our innovative team, you will work closely with partners to make AI relatable, shape impactful products, and drive initiatives that benefit our players. While you'll be part of a hardworking Data Product team, your primary focus will be on Data Science, AI, and ML.

This role reports to the Head of Product Data and operates on a hybrid work model, combining office and home-based work from our Leeds office. Our state-of-the-art 8-storey office has numerous amenities, including a staff gym, cafeteria, heated rooftop terraces, dedicated gaming room, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow AI & ML applications at PokerStars.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on AI & ML applications within PokerStars.
  • Foster and maintain strong, productive relationships with various collaborators.
  • Lead discussions on priorities & roadmaps of the Data Science team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI products to production.
  • Regularly demo AI products to users, creating a well-informed user base.
  • Maintain product documentation to ensure purposeful use of assets.
  • Advocate for robust governance practices in our AI product development.
  • Ensure a fit-for-purpose AI platform for current and future needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager, especially with AI & ML products.
  • Highly proactive, energetic, and motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using various business analysis techniques.
  • Strong delivery-focused attitude with a mission to achieve results.
  • Effective communicator adaptable to different audience needs.
  • Skilled in handling large and demanding partnerships.
  • Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and share it effectively.
  • Proficiency in querying complex data assets using SQL, Python, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of AI, ML, ML Ops concepts and their business applications.
  • Experience with DS tooling and working in agile environments.
