Flexible Work Opportunities

Our unique working model offers a 40/60 split between office and remote work. Spend at least 40% of your time collaborating in-person at our Berlin office to enhance team spirit, and enjoy the freedom of working remotely within Germany for the remaining 60%. Additionally, you have the opportunity to work up to 20 days per year outside Germany. We support your commute with a “Bahncard 50”, providing a 50% discount on train travel within Germany.

What You Will Do

In this role, you'll employ various methods to transform raw data into actionable insights. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating algorithms and conducting statistical analyses to solve complex problems.
• Developing data systems and pipelines to optimize data flow and collection.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to assess needs and objectives.
• Extracting trends and patterns from complex data sets and reporting on findings.

Who You Are

We're looking for candidates with significant experience in data science or engineering. The ideal candidate will have: Bay if):

• Proven experience in Data Engineering or a relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong skills in Software Engineering and expertise in machine learning, data mining, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, Python.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Adverity, Looker) is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design and big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
• Business fluency in English, and preferably German.
• Residency in Germany.
