Your Mission

The Group IT Global Applications’ goal is to support enterprises and partner with them to enhance both efficiency and profitability. We establish global standards and integrate all operational units into a unified IT service model. The department defines business requirements through project charters and defends them in collaboration with the global IT functions.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data science projects, analyzing large and complex data sets, and promoting data-driven decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data science projects, including machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data visualizations.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into data science solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation, testing, and monitoring processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science.
  • Contribute to the development of data-based solutions and products.
  • Present data science results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Profile

  • Over 2 years of experience in data science, with a Master’s or PhD in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning tools, statistical analysis, and data visualization technologies.
  • Experience with big data frameworks, such as Spark or Hadoop.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify trends and insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in data security and privacy.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
