Job Description

We are seeking a remarkable Data Scientist to contribute to our cross-functional team, be part of our esteemed community of skilled professionals in the dynamic field of information technology.

The Core Networks & First Line Maintenance (T-CNF) unit is in charge of the core network. From planning, development to operation – we're accountable for all aspects and provide functions and capacities in the core network at topmost quality, nationally and internationally.

The Super Squad Automation and Data Analytics is a competence center for IT and automation within T-CNF. We build and maintain solutions for automating infrastructure deployment along with IP address management, while also laying the foundation for data-based decision-making through our data analytics platform. We're in the process of taking on a new assignment to revamp the data center infrastructure management of T-CNF and associated entities.

In this importance, you'll develop solutions for automated information extraction from floor and building plans using ML and rule-based image recognition methodologies.

Your daily tasks:

  • Work alongside the product owner and the cross-functional team to tackle engineering challenges.
  • Steer the development of algorithms for data extraction from Visio files.
  • Aid the integration of the developed services into an existing environment.
  • To guarantee high-quality standard, contribute to the test strategy and make decisions on automation technologies.
  • Operate within an agile and team context.

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or an equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in the field of image recognition
  • Over 2 years of practical expertise in Python with Deep Learning Libraries (Pytorch, Keras, Tensorflow)
  • Adept experience in SQL
  • Advanced experience with version control systems
  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Team spirit and willingness to embrace diverse challenges
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

 

Additional Information
