Job Description

This role will provide analytical and technical support to senior team members and the Thought Leadership team within the global Marketing and Communications organization. This data analyst will support the development of detailed, predictive thought leadership content for use in white papers, executive T2T presentations, industry events, and content. The role will operate with an analytical focus, requiring category or CPS knowledge. The analyst will provide best-in-class analysis of trends, insights to arm the economist and content team with actionable insights, predictive statements delivered through data stories that are relevance and will impact our clients and industries. The analyst will maintain ownership for all CPS deliverables throughout the life cycle.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the CPG/Retail industry.
  • Have strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, conditional formatting, chart building, and formatting); PowerPoint, Knowledge of VBA is beneficial.
  • Have problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have CPG/Retail expertise.
  • Have experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Are proactive, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Have strong communication skills and can document, present and educate others.
  • Are willing to take ownership and see projects through to completion.
  • Can anticipate the bigger picture and are holistic in nature.
  • Have experience and desire to create process documentation.
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written (minimum C1 level).
  • Have a result-oriented personality and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Have experience working in a virtual environment and in a multicultural setting.
  • Are diligent and detail-oriented.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with project execution by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting sales and consumer data to identify trends and patterns for developing actionable insights and building presentations.
  • Summarizing data in tables, charts, and graphs, reviewing data for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Drafting reports and presentations with straightforward data interpretation (category overview and issue-based).
  • Setting up and refreshing regular reports, including commentaries and highlights (CPS).
  • Sharing and actively searching for best practice examples and implementing these approaches in their own work when possible.
  • Supporting other team members during client meetings and presentations.
