About the Role: Senior Financial Data Analyst

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team. This critical role involves working closely with the Finance team and broader organization to provide data-driven insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Location: Remote US or our San Francisco office

Compensation Range: $122,000 to $164,000

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Maintain financial models to forecast key metrics and support planning and investment decisions.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate complex financial data to stakeholders.
  • SaaS Metrics Analysis: Analyze key SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC) to uncover trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • SQL Expertise: Use SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Growth teams to define key metrics, share insights, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention Analysis: Evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness, identify high-value customer segments, and develop strategies to reduce churn.
  • Pricing & Revenue Optimization: Analyze pricing models, customer segments, and usage patterns to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • Experience: 7+ years in financial analysis, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, strong Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling skills, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Omni, Looker).
  • SaaS Knowledge: Understanding of key SaaS metrics and business models.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Self-Starter: Comfort working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
