Position Overview:
Join Stryker’s dynamic Global Quality, Regulatory & Clinical (GQRC) Analytics team as a Senior Lead Data Engineer and drive technological innovation across our organization. This pivotal role focuses on developing and managing advanced data infrastructure that supports data-driven decision-making by our leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain robust data solutions integrating sources like Trackwise, onePLM, and Azure.
- Lead critical data engineering projects from concept through deployment, optimizing data pipelines and system performance.
- Provide technical and project leadership, collaborating across teams to leverage expertise and achieve superior results.
- Identify and solve complex problems, recommending proactive solutions for long-term improvements.
- Mentor team members, enhancing their technical skills in data architecture, project management, and solution deployment.
- Engage with senior management to align data solutions closely with business goals and user needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, with a preference for a Master’s Degree or PhD.
- Strong proficiency in SQL/Python/R/Spark, and deep knowledge of ETL/ELT and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data architectures, workflow optimization, and cloud-based tools like Azure or Databricks.
- Desirable: Familiarity with DataOps, DevOps, and regulatory environments.
