Position Summary

Do you want to implement techniques like generative analytics and monetize data using natural language processing? The CVS Asset Protection team seeks a talented Senior Manager to support front store operations. Join us in developing descriptive and predictive techniques to reduce shrink, drive field operations, and enhance customer experiences through comprehensive analytics and insights.

The Senior Manager will leverage their technical and analytical prowess to drive shrink (Asset Protection) in front store operations. This includes providing analytics insights to automate shrink forecasts and labor planning, enabling field operations, and utilizing advanced techniques for predictive and prescriptive insights. The role involves using advanced machine learning to optimize trade-offs and develop scenario models to answer various business questions.

This individual will collaborate with business leaders and partners to inform analytics approaches, identify quick wins, and enable step changes over time. They must effectively influence and communicate with non-technical audiences to promote adoption and drive sustainable impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 – 10 years of experience in descriptive and predictive analytics, including gathering requirements to meet data and technology prerequisites.
  • Strategic mindset and experience leading technical initiatives focused on deploying data and analytics solutions in healthcare.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, communicate insights, and promote the adoption of analytics insights.
  • Deep expertise in data modeling/analytics using SQL and Python.
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and drive sustainable impact in the supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with common Python libraries used in machine learning projects.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Snowflake), including querying/mining large datasets and deploying projects on cloud systems.
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile framework.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $124,372.50 - $267,800.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on various factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. It also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
