Reports To

Senior Director of Data Management

A data science manager in this role will collaborate with multiple departments within the company (such as Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Support) to identify use cases/scenarios for optimization, leverage data lake for efficient querying and analytics, and utilize data science and ML to study data and develop data solutions.

What You Will Contribute to ChargePoint

• Establish an in-depth understanding of data analytics, science, and ML with ChargePoint Data.
• Construct and manage a data science team.
• Determine, analyse, and understand trends or patterns in intricate data sets.
• Offer thought leadership, perform business analysis, and support the implementation of key strategic projects and critical initiatives.
• Promote data analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Keep up-to-date with the continually evolving data analysis landscape and industry best practices, including generative AI.
• Collaborate with key leaders on vital strategic, organisational, and operational projects aimed at increasing revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant Data Science experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, data modelling & ML
• 5+ years of managing a Data Science Team
• 3+ years of experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools
• Strong ability in problem-solving, analysis & project management.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing environment with high standards.
