Summary / Role Purpose

The Senior Product Sales Manager will lead and support collaborative sales efforts within the domains of Optimization and AI/ML technologies. Driving the profitability and growth of Ansys products such as optiSLang and SimAI, this role acts as a critical bridge between sales and engineering teams.

Our ideal candidate excels at understanding customer needs, developing compelling value propositions, and articulate the technical and business benefits of our solutions. A strong technical background in simulation and hands-on experience in the field is crucial.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and renewals for optiSLang and SimAI products, exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with Ansys field and enterprise sales, and channel partners to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies.
  • Lead product presentations tailored to customer needs, establishing the superiority of Ansys products over competitors.
  • Identify and nurture business development opportunities, leveraging new technologies and product innovations.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing and potential customers across various industries in North America.
  • Participate in industry shows and provide feedback to product development and marketing teams.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field with at least 4+ years of sales or consulting experience in engineering/technology applications, or 6+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in engineering analysis and technology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and independent working skills.
  • Ability to engage with multiple teams and stakeholders across global sites.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the territory.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
