Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Software Engineer to enhance the AMP team at Autodesk, focusing on AI/ML serving platforms within a hybrid cloud architecture. If you have a solid background in software engineering, specialize in AI/ML technologies, and have experience with hybrid cloud infrastructures, your expertise could be crucial in architecting scalable, efficient systems that drive our innovative solutions forward. This role is based in Pune and will report directly to the Manager.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

AI/ML System Design: Develop scalable and efficient systems capable of serving AI/ML models, ensuring optimal performance even under varying loads across diverse environments.

Hybrid Cloud Architecture: Design and manage a smart blend of on-premises and cloud-based resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve scalability.

Model Deployment and Versioning: Take charge of AI/ML model deployment, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless updates and rollbacks.

Performance Monitoring: Employ monitoring tools to track AI/ML model performance in production, optimize system performance, and reduce operational costs by addressing bottlenecks effectively.

Security and Compliance: Ensure AI/ML systems adhere to data security and privacy regulations by managing data encryption, access controls, and compliance audits.

Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with AI/ML researchers and engineers to turn complex models into production-ready solutions, staying updated on industry trends and integrating innovative technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Background: BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: At least 5 years in software development and engineering, with a track record of deploying production systems.

AI/ML Expertise: Experienced with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and proficient in Python for system development.

Cloud and DevOps Skills: Skilled in hybrid cloud architecture and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, cloud services (Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

GPU Computing: Experience with GPU computing tools (CUDA, OpenCL) to enhance AI/ML workload processing.

Cloud Certifications: Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is advantageous.

AI/ML Monitoring Tools: Exposure to tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or TensorBoard for monitoring AI/ML models is beneficial.
