The Automotive Vehicles team is looking for innovative and seasoned Systems Engineers to aid us in deploying NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle solution globally. You will be involved in a concentrated effort to design and commercialize revolutionary solutions that will transform the transportation world and the burgeoning field of self-driving cars. You will cooperate with industrious, committed multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to incorporate their work into our AV SW platform, while meeting or surpassing all significant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. The work is thrilling, enjoyable, and pertinent. We have deadlines, clients, and competitors. We are spearheading the technology revolution, shaping the future of transportation through our dedication to developing autonomous vehicles! As a data analyst/engineer, your primary responsibility will be to build robust and scalable data infrastructure that will allow us to monitor, examine and verify our autonomous technology using billions of data points. What you will be doing: - Design, create, and maintain data infrastructure that supports large-scale, complex analysis of autonomous driving systems. - Collaborate across engineering, data science, testing, and release teams to construct and scale analytical solutions that address gaps in data coverage and frameworks and mitigate project risks. - Develop and refine tools that automate the data analysis and KPI reporting process, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture across the company. - Generate dashboards and reports using data visualization tools - Contribute to improving the overall process, quality of products - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues that affect the performance and reliability of our data infrastructure. What we need to see: - BS (or equivalent experience), MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. - 6+ years of software, data engineering, or analysis experience, preferably in the field of simulation, autonomous systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, or related areas. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar high-level data languages. - Experience with distributed computing, big data technologies, and cloud platforms. - Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting abilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Proven ability to perform in situations with high ambiguity and competing priorities. - Curiosity and a desire to “dive deep” into data to derive insights. Ways to stand out from the crowd: - Experience designing KPIs and dashboards for complex systems such as robotics - Experience with or knowledge of AI/ML systems, or a background working with AI-native systems. - Experience in large-scale data engineering for hardware or software validation of any robotics solution. The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 333,500 USD. Your base salary is contingent on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be entitled to equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
