About the Role

The Data team at Unbounce is crucial in driving our data-driven vision and achieving our Conversion Optimization goals. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the ecosystem for data processing, analysis, science, and machine learning. This role offers opportunities to create high-impact platform solutions and collaborate with various departments from day one.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and optimize our data infrastructure.
• Work closely with analytics engineers and data analysts to improve our data warehouse using best practices and advanced tools.
• Support data engineers in migrating to Amazon Redshift.
• Develop a data mart tailored to machine learning applications in collaboration with data scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Refine requirements and deliver impactful data solutions alongside Product and Engineering teams.
• Drive and participate in creating and reviewing solution designs and architecture.
• Educate and guide the organization on best practices for data management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Analytics Engineering (Software Engineering experience is also considered).
• Hands-on experience with data transformation, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts as they relate to data and analytics engineering.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• A desire to design and build performant platform solutions using modern technologies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Initiative to propose and implement new solutions or improvements.
• Ownership of your work, from idea to delivery.
