Specialist, Product Management (Data Science and Analytics)
Overview:
As Mastercard aims to establish a world free of cash, we are exploring payments across all technologies, markets, and use cases. One such significant opportunity we have identified is the transformation of consumer bill payments in North America. The Transfer Solutions team, responsible for this segment, is introducing novel solutions to this system through the advantageous combination of our leading card and merchant networks with our bill payment assets. The Specialist will operate within the Bill Payment Rails team, a crucial component of the Transfer Solutions team within the North American Product and Engineering organization.
Role:
The Specialist will oversee data science, analytics, reporting, and analysis for the RPPS bill payment network in North America, with responsibilities including:
• Establishing an optimization program to increase transactions.
• Constructing KPI dashboards to track RPPS network activity, proactively monitoring, and partnering with team members and other stakeholders to act on the findings.
• Providing partners with actionable data to increase network usage.
• Expertly handling large data sets: analyzing them and taking action based on the insights.
• Producing revenue forecasts and monitoring the actual performance against targets.
• Collaborating with product development and engineering teams to detail requirements for data-focused product roadmap items.
• Conducting an analysis for executive meetings and strategic initiatives.
• Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders: product development, business operations, engineering, account management, marketing.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming the job is performed in the US, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive base salary based on location, experience, and other qualifications for the role. The candidate may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
