Job Overview

The role involves solving complex problems and assisting stakeholders in making data-driven decisions using advanced quantitative methods, including machine learning. This position requires synthesizing large volumes of information and programmatically extracting signals from data.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support all segments of TE Connectivity by addressing challenges in manufacturing analytics, revenue forecasting, predictive maintenance, and spend analytics.
  • Collect and analyze data points to build analytics models and provide actionable insights.
  • Possess expertise in forecasting techniques, regression analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Translate business challenges into analytical solutions and present findings to management.
  • Apply data mining techniques, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis to build high-quality prediction systems using AI/ML algorithms.
  • Utilize predictive modeling to optimize customer experiences, enhance revenue generation, reduce costs, and improve transportation efficiency.
  • Use common data science toolkits such as PYCARET, TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, Sci-Kit, Flask, Pandas, and advanced libraries.
  • Develop data visualizations using tools like ggplot, matplotlib, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Experience in supply chain or manufacturing domains, handling projects in forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, image classification, clustering, and sentiment analysis.
  • Proficiency with query languages such as SQL and familiarity with Data Lakes, Data Factory, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience in model development and deployment using Azure and CI/CD pipelines.

Competencies and Experience Required/Desired

  • 6-8 years of experience in model development and deployment
  • Proficiency in Python and Azure/AWS
  • Expertise in statistical model building and machine learning
  • Strong skills in data extraction, data cleansing, data preparation, and model deployment
  • Experience in data mining and process optimization using cloud databases
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and Docker for model development and deployment
  • Proficiency in statistical tools like Python, Azure Machine Learning, and Auto ML tools
  • Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience implementing end-to-end analytical projects on Azure/AWS
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Innovative thinking and high work quality
  • Updated with the latest tools and techniques in the analytical field
  • Master’s degree (preferably in Statistics) or B.Tech/B.E.
