Job Summary

Note: This is a virtual role. The candidate must reside in Colorado.

We are looking for a Sr Analyst, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence to collaborate across functions, collect data, and develop models to identify trends using various data sources. This role involves working closely with both the analytic organization and its technology partners to define and publish complex data products. The analyst will retrieve, analyze, and summarize business, operational, employee, customer, and economic data to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, and support decision-making purposes. The role includes producing reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that convey analytic results and align with business needs, and presenting findings to senior leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex data sets using SQL and Python to uncover actionable business insights through self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Query data platforms such as Teradata, Trino/Starburst, Dbeaver, Hadoop, Databricks, and AWS.
  • Manage monthly outbound lead generation strategy and data extraction process to support call center operations.
  • Partner strategically with West Division marketing by combining technical expertise with business strategy understanding.
  • Work with business leaders to understand data needs and develop technical requirements for analytics requests.
  • Identify key business drivers through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Develop forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other key business metrics.
  • Analyze campaign and initiative results to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate findings clearly through presentations and data visualizations to executives and decision-makers.
  • Advocate for a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, intellectual curiosity, and teamwork.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning, and apply them to business challenges.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required; must be able to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis or Data Science.
  • Proficiency with data platforms and querying tools such as Teradata, Starburst/Trino, Hadoop, AWS, Databricks, DBeaver, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Experience with Python, including Pandas or other data analytics libraries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $86,210.08 - $129,315.12

Comcast offers a competitive base pay dependent on experience and job-related factors. In addition to base pay, eligible positions may receive commissions or bonuses as defined by applicable plans.
