We are seeking a motivated and highly productive Sr. Data Analyst to join our Planning and Analysis team within Group Retirement and Wealth Management. This team is highly visible and supports the Executive leadership team, collaborating with various functional areas of our business. You’ll play a critical role in modernizing our information delivery mechanisms and supporting essential business applications and processes.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the Sr. Data Analyst include:

• Collaborating with business and technical teams to establish a self-service data environment and governance program.
• Developing and maintaining data models using the Snowflake database.
• Managing critical data utilized in planning processes.
• Optimizing and automating repetitive information delivery processes.
• Working alongside colleagues from different roles within the Group Retirement and Wealth Management business.
• Handling ad-hoc data analytics and reporting projects.
• Leading and participating in top-priority data projects.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who can quickly envision solutions to complex issues and implement them efficiently. Additionally, the preferred candidate should:

• Have more than 6 years of experience in business and data analytics.
• Be proficient in PL/SQL and have experience with Oracle and Snowflake.
• Understand data structures, data modeling, and database design, especially working with large datasets.
• Exhibit effective organizational and time management skills, working well under pressure.
• Have project management experience and attention to detail.
• Possess strong technical skills, particularly in designing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI (DAX knowledge required), Cognos, or Sigma.
• Have strong analytical problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
• Be proficient in the Microsoft Suite (Excel with advanced formulas, Access, PowerPoint).
• Be a self-motivated, energetic team player.
