About the Role: Senior Data Analyst

Join our Data Science and Data Technologies teams as a Senior Data Analyst at our Centreville, VA location. You'll collaborate on complex research and create advanced analytics solutions for major product initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks will involve strategic data analysis, working closely with cross-functional teams, and conducting impactful research and presentations. This is a role designed for problem solvers and analytical thinkers passionate about data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to unlock new value from data for existing and new products.
  • Create interactive tools and dashboards for product analysis, exploration, and monitoring.
  • Provide targeted ad hoc analytics and actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Design and implement regular reports aiding informed decision-making across teams.
  • Champion data quality and integrity enhancements.
  • Document analytical processes and outcomes, showcasing the value derived to stakeholders.
  • Streamline and refine data analysis procedures across the Data Services department.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-7 years of hands-on experience in advanced data analytics, or a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
  • Strong expertise in R programming and SQL, with a minimum of four years' experience.
  • Proven track record in developing reporting tools and dashboards using R Markdown or Shiny, with at least two years' experience.
  • Understanding and application of statistical modeling techniques, including linear and logistic regression, GLM, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to all organizational levels.
  • A dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, with a boldness to challenge the usual ways of working.
