As a Manager in Consumer & Community Banking leading the Applied Machine Learning team, your role will focus on overseeing rigorous machine learning projects from start to finish. You will help tackle intricate relevance and ranking issues, foster the development of scalable features, and manage ML Ops to cultivate groundbreaking systems that serve Chase customers across all business arenas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis of complex data sets to drive decision-making in real-world scenarios.
• Direct the development and deployment of algorithms and models that improve our systems, processes, and products.
• Manage data analysis tasks ensuring high-quality visualizations are delivered.
• Oversee the efficient writing and deployment of software codes within production environments, adhering to high standards.
• Identify risks in machine learning solutions and prediction/classification systems and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
• Effectively communicate intricate issues to senior management and stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
• Promote a culture of transparency and collaboration across different functions, encouraging team members to maintain high standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a proven track record in leading technical teams.
• Expertise in one or more areas such as machine learning, graph learning, recommendation systems, network analysis, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, or MLOps.
• Strong foundational knowledge in core computer science concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in conducting design and code reviews.
• Proficiency in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Skilled in managing and extracting insights from large, complex datasets, both structured and unstructured.
