Job Summary:

The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team at Visa is integral to our mission, specializing in risk management services for a diverse clientele including banks, merchants, and other payment networks. As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to the ongoing development and deployment of our predictive models through data engineering and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).

Key Responsibilities:

Your role within the RaIS will encompass a variety of responsibilities including the development and implementation of large-scale ETL processes, maintaining robust Spark pipelines, and advancing our machine learning capabilities using tools such as Golang, Java, and Python. You will work closely with stakeholders across the product, data science, and research teams to define strategic priorities and deliver data solutions that drive significant business value.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in data engineering and data science, with extensive experience in the following areas:

• Building and maintaining data and feature engineering pipelines.
• Engineering, testing, validating, and productizing AI/ML models for high-performance scenarios.
• Expertise in Big Data and real-time technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in model serving engines and development frameworks like TensorFlow, Triton, and MLFlow.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, containerized and virtualized environments including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge in cloud technologies is an added advantage.

Position Details:

This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, India, requiring you to split your time between remote work and on-site collaboration, in accordance with business needs.

Qualifications:

Prospective candidates should have at least 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6+ years with a Master's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or another analytical field. A strong understanding of SQL, Python, and big data technologies is essential.
