We provide targeted insights and recommendations integrated into premier products like Amazon Brand Analytics (ABA), Product Opportunity Explorer (OX), and Manage Your Growth (MYG). Leveraging both structured and unstructured data, we generate science-based insights to guide Sellers in product introduction and customer engagement.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Set the standard for scientific excellence in algorithm design, model structure, efficiency, and extensibility.
• Develop and integrate world-class statistical and machine learning models.
• Decompose complex problems into innovative, straightforward solutions.
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers (PM), UX designers, engineering teams, and Seller Growth Consulting teams.

About the Team

The Seller Growth Science team is dedicated to creating data and science solutions to fuel Seller growth and enhance Seller experiences. We focus on three key themes: discovering opportunities, generating actionable analytics, and empowering Sellers with personalized Growth Plans and differentiated treatment.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience applying scientific principles to business problems.
• PhD, or Master's degree with 5+ years in quantitative field research.
• Proficiency with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, etc.
• Experience communicating qualitative research methods to non-qualitative researchers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience converting research studies into real-world applications.
• Proficiency in discrete and continuous optimization methodologies.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US markets. The base pay for this role ranges from $143,300/year to $247,600/year, depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional forms of compensation and a comprehensive benefits package may be offered.
