Your Role: Staff Analytics Engineer

As a Staff Analytics Engineer at DeepL, you will be instrumental in architecting and maintaining ETL pipelines, developing data models, and integrating new data sources. Your expertise will foster more effective data utilization across the company, aiding teams like Developers, Product Development, and Data Science.

You will be immersed in a cross-functional team environment, tackling complex technical challenges and enhancing our data frameworks that support both internal stakeholders and global-scale data operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective data models based on business requirements.
  • Develop high-quality ELT code with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Enhance and maintain our data catalog and architecture documentation.
  • Drive best practices in data modeling and code standards across the team.
  • Create innovative solutions for complex data processing challenges.

What We Look For

  • Proven expertise in data management, and design of ETL pipelines and data models.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and possibly other programming languages.
  • Experience with Data Warehouses like Clickhouse or Redshift is essential.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English.
