Coupang is looking for a talented Staff Data Analyst to help optimize business outcomes and facilitate strategic decision making through detailed data structuring, analysis, simulations, and modeling of extensive datasets. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational and business solutions.
• Solve complex data analysis problems and effectively communicate findings to all stakeholders.
• Use analysis on launched solutions to quantify their success and impact.
• Translate business challenges into technical problems solvable with advanced data and mathematical/statistical methods.
• Help foster a culture of data analytics within the supply chain automation team.
• Create analytics, build success metrics, dashboards, and simulations for a variety of products and operations.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to enhance supply chain analytics.
• Perform experimentation, A/B testing, and robust product analytics.
• Develop and manage advanced reporting dashboards utilizing tableau or Power BI and perform analytics in Jupyter notebook.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7-10 years experience in Business Analytics/Data Analytics/Machine Learning.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and effective communication.
• Proven quantitative analysis skills and a strong foundation in statistics/ML fundamentals.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools alongside excellent data manipulation skills.
• The ability to independently tackle and solve challenges presented in business scenarios using data science.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Presto.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce sector, specifically in retail/FMCG, distribution, or global corporations.
• Background in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or Demand and Supply Planning is highly desirable.
