Practical Information

• This is an internship.
• You are available for at least 32 hours a week for your internship.
• You are available from the end of January 2024 for a period of 3-4 months
• You are fluent in English.

Are you passionate about the use of cutting-edge technology to extract meaningful insights from visual data? Then join our team as a Computer Vision Intern focusing on video summaries!

In this role, you will get the opportunity to work with advanced algorithms that automatically distil crucial information from video content. The project you are going to work on is extremely important for both the agricultural sector and our technical team. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between farmers and engineers by providing real-time insights. This collaboration aims to expedite the process of identifying and implementing improvements, leading to more efficient and effective agricultural practices.

During your internship, you will be dealing with:

• Data preparation.
• Algorithm development: Exploring and experimenting with new deep learning architectures for video summaries to improve performance and efficiency.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintaining detailed documentation of experiments, methodologies and results. Present findings and insights to the research team in regular meetings.
• Performance optimization and tuning: Optimize deep learning models for speed and efficient resource usage to ensure real-time or near-real-time video summarizing capabilities.
• Integration and implementation: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate developed models into existing systems or applications.
• Iterative development: Test and refine models iteratively based on feedback and performance analysis.

Job Requirements

• You have experience with Python and C++.
• You have basic knowledge of Deep learning toolsets such as Pytorch, Computer vision tools and libraries such as OpenCV.
• You have experience with image processing and computer vision.
• You are communicative and social,
• You are creative and can visually represent this.
• You are accurate and structured.
