Job Description:

IQVIA, a global leader in healthcare analytics and clinical research, is seeking a skilled Statistical Programmer to enhance our biometrics and data science capabilities. This role involves crafting SAS programs to develop analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures. You will perform programming validation to guarantee the quality of outputs and provide steadfast programming support throughout project development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing programming strategies and standards aligned with project objectives.
• Supporting electronic submission preparations and ensuring the clarity of programming documentation.
• Leading interactions with external vendors to establish project standards and specifications.
• Championing quality compliance through adherence to regulatory standards and internal SOPs.
• Driving efficiencies within our Global Biometric and Data Sciences (GBDS) processes.
• Executing programming tasks with minimal supervision and contributing to improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of programming experience, industry-wide.
• Proficiency in analytical programming and a deep understanding of clinical data structures, such as CDISC standards.
• Expertise in utilizing software tools like MS Office, XML, and Pinnacle 21.
• Experienced in data processing and familiar with regulatory standards and clinical terminologies.
• US military experience applicable as industry experience (for US positions).

Preferred Requirements:

• At least 5 years of clinical/statistical programming experience within the pharmaceutical industry, supporting regulatory filings such as NDA, BLA, MAA.
• Extensive knowledge about drug development processes, clinical trial methodologies, and global regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in additional software like R and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
