We are actively seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate technical leader to manage a diverse team of Applied ML engineers. As part of this role, you will work cross-functionally and globally to pioneer the next generation of ML tooling and end-user features for international locales.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the manager of the Applied ML Engineering team in the Software Localization division, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the exploration and application of LLMs for translation tasks and enhancing Apple product features.
• Turning the latest research into high-quality systems and models that improve machine translation and Apple product features.
• Overseeing all aspects of model development, from ideation and training to experimentation and deployment.
• Collaborating with translation, localization quality, project management, and engineering teams to develop and implement machine learning solutions.
• Driving your team to deliver ML tools and features that meet product, engineer, and customer requirements.
• Improving ML engineering workflows, support, and maintenance processes.
• Guiding, supporting, and helping your team members to grow and achieve their career best.

Education & Experience

Required: BS/MS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
