Join Our Innovative Tapeout Team as a QAI Software Engineer at Intel

Are you ready to be at the forefront of Silicon Manufacturing? This role is crucial in driving the first step of the Silicon Manufacturing process for all our chips and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

This position focuses primarily on enhancing the automation processes used in manufacturing. As a QAI Software Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and improve automation applications that boost control, throughput, and quality in tapeout operations.
  • Engage in application qualification through robust testing, quality control procedures, data analysis, and deployment activities.
  • Advance and maintain CI/CD systems and regression testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with adjacent engineering teams to define project plans, update statuses, and strategize continuous improvements.
  • Work on the discovery of software application requirements, the formulation of functional specifications, and project planning following Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A knack for problem-solving and the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively.
  • Adaptability to dynamically evolving environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or C/C++ with at least 8 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in database management.
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing automation systems for tapeout processes.
  • Experience in building and optimizing scalable backend systems (3+ years).

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

An ideal candidate would also have:

  • Five or more years of experience in Python / C++ testing, PostgreSQL, or tapeout processes.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, Qt, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing and data center system architectures.

Salary and Application Details:

The annual salary range for US-based roles varies from $162,041 to $259,425, dependent on location and experience. This position is open until 05/30/2024.
