Job Summary
This paid internship, lasting ten weeks, can be based in Chicago, IL, Naperville, IL or Richardson, TX.
What are your responsibilities?
Our internship program within the Enterprise Technology Solutions team recruits candidates who are eager to acquire hands-on experience with analytics and who are excited about the unique opportunity to utilize these skills within the healthcare industry. Interns will be incorporated into engagements where they'll integrate with the team processes, including but not limited to serving as application architect, solutions architect, or data architect to translate requirements into functional/technical specs. You will also aid the data engineers in serving business customers, conduct data profiling to understand data and structures, and partake in strategy discussions to assist in both innovation and strategy development. As an intern for the Associate Enterprise Data Analyst, you will use your skillset to help our team generate valued healthcare analytic capabilities.
What Do You Need to Be Successful?

- Capability to motivate oneself, remain organized, and follow instructions well.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of SDLC (systems development life cycle)/Iterative/Agile/Scrum development is preferred.
- Experience in requirements management and/or prototyping.
- Knowledge of system architecture is advantageous.
- Familiarity with big data and analytical technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of data processing environments is beneficial.
- Awareness of agile project management is a plus.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information technology, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Available to work 10 weeks during the summer.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (Currently, we're not offering this position with a student visa including F1, OPT, CPT, or H1B and aren't accepting or sponsoring student work visas for this role.)
