CS Energy is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for the Fall '23 - Spring '24 Semester. The Data Analyst Intern will work under the direction of our Senior Data Analyst. The Intern will study historical data, identify ways to maximize profits, improve operational efficiency, and analyze trends. The position requires working in our Edison, NJ office for at least 2-3 days each week, for 20-40 hours in total per week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Apply data analytics and data analysis techniques - Conduct accurate and timely data calculations and analysis - Identify tasks and determine dependencies, resources needed, time, and cost - Create dashboards in Power BI - Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Accounting, Project Controls and other stakeholders to gather information - Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party firms to gather additional information - Exhibit a thorough understanding of contract documents and potential risks for a project - Manage multiple projects concurrently - Maintain strict confidentiality at all times - Assist the Data Analyst on other projects as needed Requirements: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, or Data Science (preferred) - Excellent academic records (GPA of 3.5 or higher) - Basic understanding of construction and interest in the renewable industry - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Experience with Power BI - Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment - Working knowledge of project-based financial models - Demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills - Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word, etc.). * All candidates who receive a conditional job offer must pass a pre-employment drug test. * Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. * CS Energy does not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third parties in response to job postings.
