We require prompt, precise, and scalable financial data to comply with regulations and make accurate business decisions to sustain our growth and financial goals. We're searching for a Product Analyst to join our Finance Product Integration team. The primary function of the team is to ensure product financials are recorded accurately, promptly, and reliably for Wise. In this position, you will have a fantastic opportunity to combine product skills with technical data processing capabilities. You will become familiar with all of Wise's key products, understand the business, and also enhance your data analysis expertise. Here's what your typical day might look like: - Collaborate with various stakeholders - Product Managers, Engineering teams, other finance sub-teams (i.e., Accounting, Business Insights, etc.) to understand the diverse products supported in Wise and future expansions. - Help with Product launches, create control models over the financial data, and documentation for stakeholders. - Participate in data management – data analysis, data cleanup, automation. - Clearly explain technical subjects to a range of non-technical stakeholders. - Work on continuously improving the finance engine alongside engineers to improve scalability and timeliness. Here's a bit about you: - Demonstrated SQL experience in constructing complex analytical queries, reports, and data models. Familiarity with Python and visualization tools (like Looker, Tableau, etc.) would be beneficial, but not a requirement. - Worked with large (financial) systems, supported their growth, and worked with the data provided. - Possess a strong analytical mindset - someone who can produce automated solutions to control and reconcile finance data. - Detail-oriented, excellent at working independently, and meeting deadlines. - Ability to look past the numbers and comprehend the business meaning. - Ready to interact with internal or external stakeholders (auditors or regulators), and capable of communicating reports, definitions, requirements, etc. The following could earn you bonus points: - Experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Airflow - Experience in start-ups and/or agile, dynamic work environments. - Ability to comprehend finance terminology or a strong commitment to learn about the finance business domain, especially basic accounting.
