Team members contribute to its development and provide help to customers. In this role, you will be a technical member of an agile squad specializing in data elements of solutions, likely being responsible for a specific area of expertise. The Role The role is all about the development and utilization of data manipulation systems for worldwide address, geocoding, and associated data. What you will do - Continually develop skills, competencies, and knowledge to support your personal development. - Contribute to and follow the best practice guidelines as defined by GBG’s Centres of Excellence. - Build company-wide tooling to enable a variety of big data workloads, including machine learning, tracking product KPIs, general business intelligence, and data visualizations. - Implement a data mesh architecture in business units to enable sharing of data across GBG. - Model data and select appropriate storage and retrieval technologies. - Maintain data infrastructure and monitor performance with observability tools. - Build and monitor CI/CD pipelines for all internal big data software. Requirements What We're Looking For - Ability to work well within a team and support others. - Proficient in Python, AWS (S3, Athena, Lambda), SQL, Pandas, Terraform. - 1-5 years of experience building big data systems. - Expert understanding of building robust and scalable data infrastructure.
