Requirements The Head of Data is responsible for leading the company’s strategic approach to data, focused on creating and realising business value from data and analytics. Oversee a matrix of data-related functions to ensure Serko is getting the most from the data products and is responsible for both enablement, utilization, and governance of data across Serko. This role will lead, develop and govern our data and information strategy in order to drive business decisions, growth, and efficiency. This includes the development of data roadmap, procedures and policies, data competencies, and culture. The role will also work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. What will you bring to the Role - You are someone with a deep grasp of data strategy, systems, governance, operations, and compliance. You will be well-versed in the world of data applications, tools, big data solutions, platforms, DataOps, agile product development, and more. In this crucial role, you are expected to show strategic acumen while actively engaging in hands-on execution. You will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy, accompanied by the ability to exert substantial influence within the organization. A Bachelor's degree or related field, a Master's degree would be a plus. With significant years of experience in senior-level data management, you'll bring your analytical prowess and a data-driven mindset to the table. Your influence, leadership, and exceptional communication skills are key. Further, your project and change management skills, combined with your strong interpersonal skills, including outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
