We're seeking market executives to propel innovation and growth in Aetna's Medicare Business, through consumer marketing, sales, and product design utilizing data science and consulting skills to help Aetna acquire new members. Our Medicare Analytics team is woven into all of Aetna's market activities, including overall growth strategies, business case development, customer segmentation, product design, media planning, attribution modeling, and member retention. We incorporate data science into all growth analytics, fueled by petabytes of data and the latest machine learning techniques. In the previous 4 years, our membership has doubled, and our market presence has grown by 50%; you will help us advance all this to the next level, using your zeal for problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and analytics storytelling to identify, cultivate and implement the next set of innovations that will propel the development of the business of tomorrow. One of many projects you could potentially work on: • Collaborate closely with our Marketing and Sales associates to steer Aetna's Medicare member growth strategy through analytics such as customer segmentation, test design, forecasting, what-if scenarios, and more. • Develop models that turn vague problems into coherent frameworks that inform operational and strategic solutions, and drive short-term and long-term business strategies. • Explore opportunities to increase revenue across our business operations and our marketing growth funnels. • Consult on creating analytics solutions that effectively balance business and technical trade-offs using a decent understanding of business strategy as well as available data science toolkits. What we can expect from you: • You are inherently a problem-solver. You tackle complex problems with tactics based on statistics and logic, and you're adept at converting intricate analytics problems into straightforward business solutions. • You have a proven history of using data to influence cross-functional teams, partners, and leaders to make decisions. • You can easily articulate and explain complex problems and solutions simply, logically, and with impact. • You possess experience with data querying and scripting languages to analyze large data sets (SQL, Scripting Language of Choice). Required Qualifications • 1+ years of business analysis and initiative leadership experience with data-driven insights resulting in business impact. • 1+ years of experience in strategic consulting or in strategy teams in large corporations. • 1+ years of programming using SQL, R, or Python. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in marketing analytics or management consulting. • Proficient in solving business problems through a strong grasp of logic and data-driven storytelling. • An in-depth comprehension of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze substantial data sets from multiple data sources. • Ability to foresee and prevent problems and obstacles before they occur. • Demonstrable strong skills in communicating technical concepts and implications to business partners. • You have 3+ years of experience applying analytics techniques to complex data to solve business problems. Marketing analytics or management consulting experience is preferred. • Corporate level experience directing business analytics, preferably in a regulated sector like healthcare, financial services, banking credit, etc. Education A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Pay Range The usual pay range for this role is: $80,500.00 - $170,000.00 This pay range outlines the base hourly wage or base yearly full-time salary for all job positions within the same grade as this role. Actual Base Salary offer will be based on a range of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant criteria. This position is qualified for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, further to the base pay range mentioned above.
