Why we're hiring:
We are in the process of establishing a technology-driven FinOps capability and developing a Central FinOps platform for viewing, recharging and optimizing Cloud and SaaS spending on a large scale. The platform will enable WPP agencies to self-manage their cloud and SaaS estates in terms of cost and optimization.
What you'll be doing:
As a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer, you'll work intimately with our engineering team to construct new data warehouses, marts, and products on Google Cloud Platform. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining comprehensive business intelligence solutions with the ultimate goal of simplifying IT finance data to enhance cost visibility and gain insights into WPP IT spending to drive an optimized and efficient IT operation.
What you'll need:
This role requires hands-on skills, including expertise in data warehouse technologies like Google BigQuery, data transformation tools like DBT, Dataform as well as SQL programming language, BI solutions like Looker/ PowerBI, and version control, git, CI/CD.
