The difference you’ll make: Within Aqemia’s drug discovery infrastructure team, you will contribute to the technological and scientific advancement of the Chemistry platform. Its aim is to offer state-of-the-art algorithms to facilitate drug discovery operations at Aqemia. As an intern, you will work more directly on our public in vitro assays database. This information is a crucial aspect of our drug discovery pipeline as it aids us in understanding the bioactivity of compounds amongst their targets. Your primary objective will be to enhance the quality standards of this data by collaborating closely with end users. Good chemistry skills and understanding of ic50 biochemical assays will be vital for achieving your objectives, as well as strong communication skills. This is a final year internship lasting at least 4-6 months and can commence anytime between January and June 2024. What you will do: • Extract meaningful insights from internal and external biochemical data to improve Aqemia's technology. • Supply our Drug discovery and Machine Learning teams with quality biochemical data to maximize their success in identifying new drugs. • Contribute to the enhancement of our custom computational chemistry algorithms. Your profile: • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, or a related field. • Proficiency in Python.
