About the role:
Dashlane is looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer with a PhD to join our Analysis and Contextual Experience (ACE) team.
You will work on forefront research in web understanding, utilizing large labeled and unlabeled datasets of web pages. As a part of the ACE team, you will help pioneer cutting-edge web analysis that will simplify the lives of millions worldwide.
The ACE team provides webpage analysis to other Dashlane divisions, enabling significant functions such as autofill of credentials and detecting phishing attempts on our customers. The team includes Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and a Data Collection Engineer to ensure the quality of our analysis.
We use a variety of Machine Learning techniques like logistic regression, hierarchical classification, and state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing neural network architecture to power our analysis engine. This blog post explains our current analysis approach on the web, and we wrote about the lessons we've learned from tracking machine learning experiments with ClearML.
We also advocate for public specifications for field autofill, like Semantically Annotated Web Forms.

Work on R&D initiatives around understanding web pages and their applications to a password manager and identity provider
Help maintain and improve our existing data pipelines (data collection tools and databases, model training pipelines, integrations into the Dashlane web extension)
Work with ML Engineers, Software Engineers, product managers, designers in a highly collaborative environment where everyone shares ownership of the company's success

Requirements for Young Doctors:
You are looking for your first job with a permanent contract (CDI) since receiving your PhD.
A PhD/Doctoral degree in Information Retrieval or Natural Language Processing or Computer Science
2+ years of experience handling significant data volumes
2+ years of experience working with Python, Scikit-learn, and deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
Nice-to-haves:
Interest in experimenting with LLMs.
Experience with Machine Learning cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Interest in JavaScript, Web technologies, and embedding Machine Learning within web applications
Interest in data privacy and online security
