We are seeking a professional or senior-level Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence & Data Modelling team.
Currently, our team consists of four Data Engineers, one Product Owner, and one Team Lead who are responsible for bridging the gap between data producers and consumers. This essentially means management of the core data layer, self-service data products, and enterprise reporting on top of an AWS-based data lake. Our team is included in a department named Analytics & Intelligence and we work closely with analysts, the data governance team, as well as the data platform department.
We are an English-speaking team and department with a major emphasis on collaboration. While we primarily work from home, we regularly meet or work from our office. We expect our new colleague to have a passion for data engineering, modelling, automation, and to enable self-service BI for analytics and other company users. In our work culture, it's important to have a growth mindset, to be a team player, and to actively engage in pair programming and knowledge sharing.
This position is available full-time or part-time.
- You will take end-to-end responsibility for the full stack of an AWS-based core data layer and data products together with your team.
- You will support the improvement of data processing and modelling, as well as definition and reporting of enterprise KPIs.
- You will assist stakeholders and internal customers with their analyses and dashboards.
- You will solve problems and iterate on existing structures in pair or mob programming mode.
- You will explore new technologies and brainstorm solutions with our team during our weekly learning Fridays.
