Your Role: As a Senior Big Data Architect at Caylent, you'll play a crucial role within a cross-functional delivery team, implementing data management solutions on the AWS cloud for our clients. You'll design, document and provide guidance for the big data and NoSQL solutions. Daily team standup meetings and bi-weekly agile ceremonies with the client are part of the routine. Regular 1:1 meetings with your manager will help guide your career growth at Caylent. Your Tasks Include: - Delivering top-quality data solutions on AWS for clients in a team setting - Participating in daily standup meetings and resolving technical issues - Designing, optimizing and migrating web-scale data processing operations - Leading and guiding engineers without direct supervision Your Qualifications: - Experience in Design and Implementation of: - ETL, Orchestration and CI/CD pipelines - Data Lakes, Data Warehouses - Analytics and visualization - At least three of data processing (Hadoop, Spark, EMR), streaming/messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis), NoSQL DBs, caching (Redis, Memcache), search (ElasticSearch, Solr) - Large scale application migration and modernization with a focus on data - Security, access controls and governance on the cloud - Proficiency with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, and CI/CD tools - Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, SDK - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Benefits Include: - Salary in USD - 100% remote work - Generous holidays and flexible PTO - Competitive phantom equity - Costs for exams and certifications covered - Peer bonus awards - State-of-the-art laptop and tools - Equipment & Office Stipend - Individual professional development plan - Annual Learning and Development stipend - Collaboration with a fantastic worldwide team and an excellent corporate culture Please note: We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
