POSITION OVERVIEW In this role, you will work with large and diverse datasets from credit bureaus, alternative data vendors, and internal databases, leveraging machine learning to build models and strategies for a wide range of marketing decisions. You will also work closely with the engineering team to enhance machine learning infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop business critical ML models like response/propensity and credit risk models for marketing programs using credit bureaus and alternate data sources - Enable executions of marketing programs through designing model-based strategy - Lead and coach a team of data scientists to deliver results. - Lead initiatives to drive business value from initiation to completion including project planning, managing stakeholders’ expectations, both internal and external, and executing. - Collaborate with Compliance and Model Risk Management teams to implement the model governance activities such as model validations and monitoring, and ensure models are compliant. - Improve/automate ML infrastructure through partnerships with engineering teams REQUIREMENTS - A relentless problem solver and out of the box thinker with a proven track record of driving business results promptly - Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced and agile environment - Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics or other quantitative discipline (Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and significant relevant experience will also be considered) - 7+ years hands-on data science experience with big data, machine learning platforms, and algorithms. Examples include AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and/or Data-Brick, Gradient Boosting, Clustering, Logistic Regression, and Neural Network to solve real-world problems. - 7+ years of practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, analysis and building reusable data pipeline. - 3+ years of experience in managing a team - Proficient in SQL/Spark SQL/Python - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong stakeholder management and project management skills The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,500 - $204,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects a national minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range details that meet your criteria will be provided by your recruiter during the hiring process.
