Project – your objective
We are looking for a Senior Back-end Data/Analytics Developer (Python) to join one of our USA clients, a start-up engaging in an exciting climate change project. You'll be part of a dynamic team that builds an AI-driven analytics and data platform to help decrease the carbon footprint of industrial manufacturing. Exciting, isn't it? Your work will be centered on our back-end data and analytics stack. You'll build a variety of data services and analytics modules, ranging from exploratory prototypes to strong, hardened production implementations. Qualifications
Expectations – the required experience
- More than 8 years of software engineering experience
- Over 2 years of generalist Python development experience
- At least 1 year of experience building and operating Python-based data pipelines, either locally or in a cloud environment
- Understanding and/or experience with Python data and/or analytics libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SimPy, Xarray, Plotly
- A self-sufficient, analytical, adaptable individual who enjoys learning, and is excellent at creating designs that balance speed, flexibility, and robustness
- Experience with distributed data pipeline processing in AWS (preferrably)
- Experience with data-centric API design (desired)
- Experience with ML toolkits/models (desired)
- Experience in establishing scalable development processes for data and analytics-based systems (CI/CD, testing, etc.) (desired)
