About the Department (Paragraph form) What You'll Do (Paragraph form) Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience - M.S or Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields. - Minimum 3 years of Machine Learning Engineering experience within a large scale environment. - Strong scientific computing skills using Python with Scikit-Learn & PyTorch or Tensorflow. - Experience in working with Docker & Kubernetes for building and deploying applications and systems. - Familiarity with ML Platform tools like AirFlow, Argo Workflows, ArgoCD is preferred. - Experience in collaborating with Data Scientists to deploy Machine Learning applications systems. - Proficiency with Full-stack Web technologies and languages is preferred. - Experience with Terraform, Google Cloud Platform or equivalent public cloud platforms. - Familiarity with CI/CD systems, version control, and DevOps tools. - Experience with databases such as BigQuery, Postgres, SQLite and ETL/ELT practices. - Solid cross-functional collaboration skills. - Proficiency in large language models and their application in GenAI technologies like chatbots. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work closely with business, engineering, and product teams to align data initiatives with business needs. Compensation Compensation may be adjusted based on location. - For Colorado-based and Washington hires: Estimated annual salary of $156,000 - $190,000 - For New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area): Estimated annual salary of $176,000 - $215,000 - For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $185,000 - $226,000 Equity You'll be eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
