SUMMARY

For this purpose, Artera's data team is creating a Machine Learning team and is searching for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you will primarily work with product managers, software engineers and data scientists to design and provide customer-facing ML solutions in production, while developing ML workflows and end-to-end pipelines for data preparation, training, deployment, monitoring to ensure the quality of architecture and model performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, design, build and launch end-to-end machine learning models
  • Lead exploratory data analysis to test, define and iterate from idea to proof-of-concept
  • Construct feature pipeline with analytics engineers to automate feature extraction and monitoring
  • Create and maintain Sagemaker pipelines to automate inference generation and collaborate with product engineering for product integration
  • Responsible for Sagemaker automated testing and deployment processes for machine learning models
  • Create and own AWS Sagemaker managed framework for performance monitoring, evaluation and automated retraining

REQUIREMENTS

  • MS or higher in a quantitative field
  • 7+ years of full-time experience in creating machine learning products
  • End-to-end experience in designing and launching machine learning features
  • Strong proficiency in Python, and experience with machine learning framework such as TensorFlow, or Keras
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark
  • Hands-on experience with in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
  • Demonstrated ability to choose the right solution for the right problem
  • Good communication skills and business mindset

BONUS

  • Proficiency in NLP
  • Experience with HL7 FHIR format, EHR data
  • Familiarity with US health system
  • Experience with dbt, Snowflake

LOCATION

Artera is expanding its Engineering team in Hungary. We are looking for candidates who currently live in Hungary. This is a remote position.
