Senior Data Engineer, Seller Experience

Job expired!

Company Description

Since our establishment in 2009, the world of commerce has seen a significant evolution, and so has our company, Square. We have revolutionized the capacity to process payments, ensuring sales are never missed. However, we noticed that sellers were still struggling with disjointed, outdated products and tools that didn't work in harmony.

So, we branched out into software and began creating integrated, omnichannel solutions that helped sellers to operate online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later features through Afterpay, schedule appointments, retain loyal customers, as well as hire and pay staff. Alongside these services, we have incorporated financial tools at the point of sale, allowing merchants to manage business loans and cash flow from a single platform. Afterpay further facilitates our objective of delivering omnichannel tools that unlock substantial value and growth, enabling sellers to appeal to the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete on a larger scale.

Today, we function as a partner to sellers of all scales - large, enterprise-level businesses with complex operations, newbie entrepreneurs, as well as merchants who started off with Square and have grown bigger over time. As our sellers grow, our solutions evolve and expand. We see a massive opportunity ahead of us. We're set on building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, while concurrently assisting sellers worldwide in doing the same.
