Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and cooperative Staff Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you'll report to the Director of Data Science, work with a part of our Analytics and Insights group, and provide support to various business lines. As a staff data scientist, you'll influence the strategies and plans for business units through actionable insights. The perfect candidate will be a creative and cooperative Data Scientist who can drive results and provide guidance on statistical modeling, data analysis, and data quality in their areas of focus. Your responsibilities as a staff data scientist will include guiding the planning, evaluation, and execution of our content initiatives, engagement, and learner and student success. You will define and develop KPIs, create reports, run exploratory analyses, offer technical guidance on projects, and use data to guide product or business teams. Basic Qualifications: You need to have an applied math, computer science, statistics, or a related technical field background, experience using data to drive product or business teams, and proficiency in at least one scripting language, one statistical software package, and SQL. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in EdTech or Content Subscription business, experience working with Salesforce and/or Marketo data, and familiarity with Airflow, Databricks and/or Looker, and Amplitude will be considered an advantage.
