Senior Machine Learning Engineer We are growing and are looking to hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic and customer-oriented Engineering team. Location: As a remote-first company, we are seeking someone based in Canada and falls within the PST - EST timezone (except Quebec). In the role of the Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will: - Develop and maintain algorithms, data pipelines, and automated processes, creating data science solutions that target customer needs. - Bring innovative ideas for the development of mission-critical, customer-facing products that rely on ML solutions. - Collaborate with product and business teams to identify solutions and best practices. - Design scalable data solutions that drive business decisions and customer success. - Create and manage systems for analyzing diverse data sources and generating actionable insights. - Develop tools for monitoring model performance and accuracy. - Mentor team members in the areas of technical expertise and career building. - Contribute to best practices around feature extraction, model development, and knowledge sharing among multiple data science teams. - Contribute directly to architecture planning. Who you are: - Experienced Machine Learning Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience using Python, SQL, MLFlow, and Sagemaker. - Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Python project optimization. - Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with multiple relational databases and data warehouses (Redshift, Postgres, Athena, Snowflake, etc). - Extensive experience with end-to-end machine learning project life cycle (MLOps) and MLOps Platforms (preferably AWS Sagemaker and/or MLFlow). Technical Chops: Ability to architect data science solutions to complex problems and deliver these solutions in customer-facing products. Experience with big data via tools like Apache Spark, infrastructure as code technologies (CDK, SAM), working with unstructured data, setting up CI/CD/CT pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, AWS CodeBuild, Github workflow), deploying deep learning models, in-production ML code frameworks (Kedro, MLFlow), and data + model versioning solutions.
